namaste really unless you’ve mastered the art of levitation all yoga exercises are done on the floor but i’m going to give you an example of one lying floor exercise so you’re going to come lying on the floor good you going to extend one leg up to the sky this is going to be a hamstring stretch you can do all kinds of stretches on the floor that could be forward bends back bends twists postures but right now we’re just going to show lying on the back and a hamstring stretch so I’m getting a really good stretch through the hamstring as I inhale in I’m going to bring my hands to the back of the leg and lengthen through the back of the neck and as I exhale I’m going to draw my belly button in and lift my nose up to the knee now if you’d like to do this with a little bit more tone for the abdominals you can lift your leg up inhale lengthen the back of the neck and as you exhale bring your nose to the knee if you’d like to make it even a little more difficult you can extend your arms inhale in and as you exhale lift the nose to the knee so this is just one example of one of the many floor exercises you can do in hatha yoga..
