hi this is Sylvia Ferraro and we’re here at Billy Beck the third personal training center in Weston Florida and today I’m going to show you how to lose body fat and weight while jogging and to help us demonstrate our exercises today we have the lovely Stephanie Prieto so all you need really is a treadmill and if you’re outside you can just increase speed as you run so what we’re going to do is she’s going to take it up to a slow jogging speed make sure you’re warmed up before you do this guys now every 30 seconds you’re going to go ahead and increase the pace so right now she’s probably jogging about 15 50 percent of her top speed when she hits the 30 second mark she’s going to go ahead and take it up to about 60 65 % so she’s gonna start running a little bit faster make sure you’re breathing is nice and relaxed and controlled try not to tense up while you increase the speed so it’s a relaxed intensity once you hit the next 30 second mark so about at one minute she’s going to go about 75 to 80 percent over top speed and she’s going to sustain that for about 30 seconds and then at the minute and a half mark she’s going to halt but for another thirty Seconds at her top speed for the last thirty Seconds to 2 minute mark once she hits a two minute mark you just go ahead and bring it right back to a walking pace go ahead and bring it down and walk in and that’s where you’re gonna recover guys you can recover at a slow walking pace if you really need to or at a light jog and I would suggest you recover anywhere from 1 minute to 2 minutes and then you’re going to repeat that whole interval set anywhere from three to five times doing steady state cardio does help burn a little bit of fat but increasing the intensity is definitely the way to go and what I’ve seen with my clients in terms of getting results a ton quicker plus it’s a lot more fun doing it this way thanks a lot for watching guys this is sylvia furrow and this has been how to lose body fat and weight while jogging..
